Μastic liqueur

 You will need
1 sachet mastic  from Chios (5 g.)
1 liter of alcohol
750 gr. sugar
1 liter of water

How to:
Place in bottle the mastic with alcohol and leave until melted mastic , shaking frequently.
Boil the water with the sugar to make a syrup.
When it cool, pour the alcohol.
Close the bottle and let it to the sun for forty days.
After the drain in triple coffee filter into a clean bottle because the mastic leaves something like dust .

Υλικά:

1 φακελάκι δακρυάκια μαστίχας Χίου (5 γρ.

1 λίτρο οινόπνευμα
750 γρ. ζάχαρη
1 λίτρο νερό

Εκτέλεση
Τοποθετούμε σε φιάλη τη μαστίχα με το οινόπνευμα και το αφήνουμε ώσπου να λιώσει η μαστίχα, ανακινώντας συχνά.
Βράζουμε το νερό με τη ζάχαρη να γίνει σιρόπι.
Μόλις κρυώσει, το ρίχνουμε στο οινόπνευμα.
Κλείνουμε κι αφήνουμε στον ήλιο σαράντα μέρες.
Μετά το στραγγίζουμε σε τριπλό φίλτρο καφέ, σε καθαρό μπουκάλι γιατί η μαστίχα αφήνει ίχνη
